Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
Brown on both sides and serve hot.
Serve with Maple syrup & Butter.

Drama lesson on 21/7 at 2:25 AM

What we did for drama lesson was that we needed to create a crisis as well as an antagonist and protagonist to go with it. We decided that the crisis would be that Protagonist lost the dance competition because the antagonist hurt her. The story would end with the Antogonist losing the next dance competition and the protagonist's boyfriend leaves her for the antagonist. This was our rough outline of the story.





Thereafter, we had to have 3 images + 2 monolougues + 1 dialogue. That was not much of a problem for us but the feedback was that the story was confusing so we'll have to work on that for the next few lessons.


Drama Lesson 28 July (: at 6:53 PM

For Drama lesson this week, we we supposed to write the storyline of a story from the picture that we had created earlier. The story is as follows(: :
Beginning

• Protagonist and the Antagonist are childhood friends.


• They met in a dance school and became good friends.


• At first the protagonist was better at dancing.


• But the Antagonist parcticed very hard and slowly became better.


• The Antagonist also had a very cool boyfriend at that time.

Middle

• The Antagonist made the Protagonist sprain her leg.


• Subsequently the Protagonist became worse than the Antagonist as she could not parctice when she was injured.


• They had a dance competition


• The Antagonist won!


• The Gossip girls (fellow dancers) started to side with the Antagonist.

End

• The Antagonist did not practice hard for the next competition as she was complacent. ~she only went shopping


• The Protagonist practiced hard.


• The Antagonist's boyfriend goes out shopping with her.


• Everyone falls in love with him.


• Dance competition~ Protagonist wins (:


• Gossip girls keep flirting with the Antagonist's boyfriend


• The Antagonist becomes angry.


• Protagonist gets the Boy in the end.

Drama Lesson Week 2- Struggling scenes at 10:38 PM

For this week's drama lesson, we had to tell our group members of one story which had to do with the theme "Struggling". After that, we had to act out the story in one scene to describe it. Here are the captions for our stories:

Group 1
Han Lu: Squash physical training
Nichapat: Struggling to get it right
Hui Ling: Getting the pose correct
Vera: Digging in the Starbucks bin
The final scene Group 1 decided on was Hui Ling's story: Getting the pose right.

For Drama on 10th May, we used a chair to form a story and create a conflict. Zhixin and Gabrielle also made a story with numbers 1-20 with a chair. They are not allowed to use any words to communicate except for numbers 1-20. The protagonist is suppose to get the chair while the antagonist is suppose to stop the protagonist from getting the chair. Basically that's all for that day's lesson.
